Rest in peace Kobe and Gigi Bryant đź’”

I’m not a fan of the Lakers, but I follow the NBA, and I’m a fan of beautiful families, and this I’ve always thought of Bryant’s, Kobe and Vanessa with their beautiful girls have often shown that success and a happy family can travel on the same track, Kobe as a former champion but above all as a man he still had a lot to give .. he was a great champion, he made millions of young people from all over the world passionate about the game of basketball, he left only wonderful memories in the lovers of this sport, and he will miss everyone, Lakers fans and not ..the news today became even sadder when they communicated that Gigi the second beautiful daughter of Kobe and Vanessa was with her dad on that damned helicopter .. it’s sad to know how a girl who dreamed of becoming like her dad, her idol, she dreamed of becoming a champion and she was really good .. and it’s sad to know that her life was broken so suddenly she still had a lot to give ..

Hello 2020

5 days have already passed since the beginning of the new year .. life seems to go slowly only when negative things happen .. time is flying .. it seems yesterday when I got drunk on the sofa waiting for midnight on the other side of the ocean ..  it seems yesterday when in Italy at midnight for the first time in 33 years I did not cry .. it seems yesterday when just before closing 2019 I closed with those who disappoint me .. it seems yesterday when I was in NY instead today today is a month that I came back..Strange but true, this is the first time that I do not make resolutions for the new year, as if I already knew how it ends .. things if I already knew what this new year will bring me .. or this new decade .. in fact something  I know … I know I’m going to be an aunt for the second time, that little George’s long distance adoption plan ends this year I know where I’m going to travel this year, I already know all the mange, I already know who’s going to be there for me  year and who will not go away ..I already know that there will be many tears, many laughs and an accumulation of memories for the next few years .. I already know that I will work even more on my personal life project .. because the more time passes, the more I believe in it!I already know that for all the sad days, for all the problems, for all the anxieties and fears I will have to rely only on myself .. and I already know that I must learn to trust people less (as the previous years teach)and since I know practically everything I just have to get comfortable and wait for the shooting of this new drama to begin .. welcome new Decade..

Happy new Year

Three days in Philadelphia

Philadelphia, is a beautiful city that should be visited especially to learn about the history of the United States of America, the nation was born here, the constitution of the United States was born here, here was signed the document of declaration of the right to vote of women .. America was born here, and slavery was fought!

to visit the old town, that is the center of the city, you only need 3 days, the first thing to know is that all the museums close at 5pm, this means that you have to organize the visits you want to do well, Cinematographically speaking, Philadelphia is famous for Rocky films, I have to say that many people unfortunately only know about it but forget it.
DAY 1:we start from there the tour also because what many people know as the Rocky’s steps, are the 72 steps that lead to the Philadelphia Museum of arts, from here up to the view you can visit a beautiful museum!

I suggest you then to walk back and walk along the Benjamin Franklin pdkwy, flanked by flags from all over the world and surrounded by all the museums,I went to visit the Rodin Museum, the cost was 5 dollars, there are also notebooks where you can draw and the artist’s most beautiful works.

as the Thinker Man, the Kiss, Joan of Arc and many other sculptures .. in the same area there are the Franklin Institute, better known as the Science Museum,a ticket for general admission costs $ 23 you can choose tickets with one or more exhibition and the cost is obviously higher.

and practically opposite we find the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University, we finish the tour in this street with the parkway central library, a wonderful library,it can only be visited by tour and guide, who do every hour until 4 pm.in front of it you will find a beautiful statue dedicated to William Shakespeare.

now that the Franklin Road is finished you find yourself in front of a beautiful cathedral, Saints Peter and Paul, the city’s main Catholic Christian place of worship, the church was built in 1846 and finished in 1864, it is inspired by the Sant’Ambrogio of Rome, and it is in neo-renaissance style, in this church two Pope have visited, Pope John Paul II and the current Pope Francis, the visit is Free and deserve to be visited because is really beautiful.

the cathedral, overlooking Logan Square which is in turn surrounded by two parks, Aviator park and sister cities park, always descending into what I have dubbed the avenue of flags, where all the flags of the world are displayed in alphabetical order, we find two other beautiful parks, cret park e Levy park, finally we arrive in JFK plaza, where we find the Philly city hall and love park, the city hall, is a beautiful building, in Napoleonic style, built between 1871 and 1901, its tower with William Penn at the top, it is 167 meters high, for a short period thanks to the fall of a part of the mole was the highest tower in the world (1953-1960) at the time it cost only 24 million dollars the construction of the building that has always been used as the town hall, it really deserves a visit ..

I was there with the opening of the Christmas markets, the one at the love park, and the one at the Dillworth Plaza right in front of the city hall, where they also inaugurated the lights of the tree (I was there)since all the stalls close at 7pm, I advise you to get there around 6pm, so that you can enjoy the last hour more quietly, there are some nice little shops in these markets, which are worth a stop

since almost all the shops close at 7pm, then I suggest you finish your day at Macy’s, this place is great for shopping and especially if like me you’ll leave in winter it’s warm and welcoming , obviously you have to do a dinner .. and for this I suggest at least once to have dinner at Hard Rock Cafe, food is really delicious and people who work there are all really nice and gently ..

Day 2

As I said at start ,Philly is one of the most historical city ,
And for the second day I want to suggest to start from the Independence hall, this building, located on Chestnut Street between the fifth and sixth, is known and worth a visit because the independence of the United States was discussed here, on 4 July 1776 the declaration of independence of the state was signed, but in itself it is a place full of history and important events, after having been the seat of the federal government for some years, before it was moved to Washington, here in 1918 Masaryk proclaimed from here the independence of Slovakia, and always here on the 4th July 1962, John Fitzgerald Kennedy made his speech to the nation on independence day you can visit this only with a tour ,and ticket you have to buy at Independence visitor center, so I suggest you to start from National constitution museum ,, where America of the past meets that of the present, where you can see the battles for human rights, all the presidents of the United States, from the first to the last ..After the visit to the National constitution museum, which will cost you $ 15 start at the Visitor center and buy the ticket for the visit to the Independence hall, at this point crossed the road and enter the liberty Bell, known as the OLD STATE HOUSE OF BELL, is perhaps the symbol with greater significance with regard to the American Revolution, which arrived in Philadelphia in 1752, was used on 4 July 1776 to call all citizens to the streets to listen to the reading of the Constitution of the United States of America, and in 1837 it became the symbol of abolitionism when it was played to decree the end of slavery ..
deserves to be visited, and admired intact with its famous crack is perhaps the most successful symbol for the American revolution.at this point, you can visit the Independence hall, which includes a beautiful park .. the building and the American philosophical society, the Carpenter’s hall, the American Revolution Museum, and the Benjamin Franklin Museum .. all wonderful places that make us understand very, very much on the history of the United States..

to finish this wonderful day, I suggest you go to the One liberty observatory, from up there the view of Philly is extraordinary..the cost is $ 15 and you will not regret this experience ..

Day 3

where the first American flag was sewn, your last day will begin, Betsy Ross house, in pure colonial style, now a museum, was the home where Betsy Ross, seamstress and seamstress from Philadelphia, where the US government was then housed. It is said that he repaired President George Washington’s clothes.

who commissioned the United States flag, I also say that he wanted 6-pointed stars, but the seamstress opted for 5.. her story is fascinating and perplexed a young woman who was very quickly widowed, who married 3 times, who traveled the world, who hosted Washington and Franklin at the same time in her house … who created the symbol of true American patriotism, the flag, the cost of the ticket to visit the house is $ 5, very beautiful, with young girls playing the role of Betsy and her washerwoman

I love Philly ,is really quite and beautiful, I learn many things about this city and story of United States, from Betsy Ross house head towards Elfreth’s alley a small street in British style, the English colonial style in this residential street has not disappeared, I suggest you visit it, but I recommend respect for those who live there, so no chaos, respect the people who live there, and you will see that if you cross them on the street they will smile at you ..

you will fall in love with this little street in the center of Philly, and you will dream for a moment of living there, always continue on the second Ave, and at 147 you will find the fireman’s hall museum, the job of the fireman, you must know that the job of the fireman it is very much esteemed, and the museum dedicated to them is worth a visit .. after the museum you go to visit the zoo of Philadelphia, you can arrive in many ways, by tourist means, the Megabus, and the bus 15, the zoo say it is among the most beautiful in the united states, surely if you go with children this place will like it very much! but also adults will be delighted ..

Now is time of shopping, and nothing is better of Market street, here you can find many outlet as ROSS DRESS FOR LESS or TJ MAXX ,CENTURY 21, and BURLINGTON ,I can assure you, if like me you love shopping, you will go crazy, I gave Christmas presents to the whole family,if you love makeup then go to Ulta beauty and fill the trolleys with the best possible products!

As much as I love the United States, I prefer a sweet breakfast with a simple cappuccino and croissant, so if you haven’t booked a hotel including breakfast (which is almost impossible) I suggest you rely on Starbucks, and especially for Italians, don’t be skeptical the cappuccino and Starbucks Milk are delicious !! for lunches you have many choices especially in the food hall, places where Philly is very full, The bourse of which I have already spoken offers many choices but also the Franklin’s table food hall that is located near the university, here you will find many choices like sushi, pizza hamburgers and much more. . in the evening for dinner, since the food hall closes at 7 pm, not really a tourist’s time, but there are many restaurants, which close between 10 pm and 11 pm, there are Hard rock cafĂ©s, where I ate a cheesesteak Philadelphia really very good, the bank and Bourbon or Iron Hill brewery, here you can eat and drink the most delicious steaks and bears or wines..

This is my trip in Philly ,this city has captured my heart and I hope one day to go back .. I hope to be able to make you fall in love with this city and have encouraged you to think of a trip to the city of brotherhood ..

PRAY FOR YOUR EARTH

The earth is rebelling, and there was no need for people to come out on TV to tell us, the Amazonia burns, the california idem, now Australia, italy trembles, floods and sinks .. and many other places in the world they suffer tzunami and other natural catastrophes, there is no more to say we pray for this or that place, but we must pray for ourselves … for the salvation of our children’s future,The other day on TV, they were fighting because they talk more about Venice, a wonderful city in northern Italy, which is sinking under the waters of the Grand Canal, and not of Matera, elected city of culture 2019, where its cobblestone streets have become rivers in full, usual political skirmishes north to south, But there was not even much talk of the earthquake that touched the city of Aquila in recent days, because it did not cause victims,Instead of thinking about safeguarding such a beautiful but fragile nation like Italy, politics starts campaigning.and unfortunately this happens a little everywhere, like in California with fires or in Florida with the Hurricane, did you know that Trump wants to build a barrier in the middle of the ocean if he is re-elected?unfortunately, that our beloved land is slowly dying, many do not care, because we look at the present and a not too distant future .. we use all this only for electoral purposes, so instead of praying for Los Angeles, Australia Venice or Matera. .. pray for yourself …because only with your strength, your courage, your commitment can you save your land ..pianeta-terra-1170x878

human cases and how to avoid them..

I’m 33 years old, and a magnet for human cases, be it love, friends or colleagues!
Even today, I am fighting against the RE of human cases, the one who I thought was my friend, instead he turned out to be false and above all bad! The bad people usually recognize them and push them away immediately, he managed to get into my head and heart, using me as much as he could, and then humiliate me when I no longer needed the services.People like this, that I will call the Tuttologo, that is the one who believes he knows everything but in reality he knows nothing! They exist and even too many, they pretend to be your friends, they pretend to keep us, and in the meantime you try to solve all the problems of their existence, they become almost fundamental people in your life, you feel that you can trust, you feel that basically they are the best people ever known, and then when they reveal themselves, well of course you feel like shit!Becoming attached to such people seriously harms health, because they can make you feel useless, good for nothing, from night to morning, they treat you like doormats, for them you have never been anything, but when they tell you or make you understand it is the ugliest way I can use, plateatico, like boors.I’m really sick these days, because being attacked and attacked for no reason is bad, but no longer wanting to cry for unpleasant beings like this I’m suffering from insomnia and stomach ache! wow !!So I decided that you have to figure out who to avoid in your life, if you don’t want to feel bad like me ..

The false friends, first and foremost, those who invite you to go out because they know that you will pay like a fool, those who make you share in their conquests, but in reality it is only a way of telling you, “I am better than you”These are the ones who really hurt, those who destroy you, who love to see you collapse knowing they were them, who laugh at you behind your back, and talk about you with the same people who came to criticize with you. Then there are those of part, those who put themselves with those who suit them, the convenient ones, those who see you one day as their best friend, and the next day they criticize you for things they don’t even know. But human cases expand like oil stains, you find them everywhere, you find them in people you believed the love of your life, what would have changed your life, with him dreams of traveling the world, of living free where you love both, and then after they leave you overnight without explanation, people are bad and trusting their neighbors today becomes really difficult, and human cases are also in the family, with those relatives who first smile at you and then criticize you from behind, those who exploit you for your stupid fragility and then after you have to say thank you, human cases hold up the world of work, especially in the environment like mine, that of catering, where men complain more than women, where most of them betray their wife as a hobby, where not paying debts becomes a fad, where if you work so much you are underpaid and criticized, and if not you do nothing, you are lent and paid more, where the customer makes the discounts because it goes like this, human cases are also those colleagues who if they don’t like to come to work tell you today I have a headache and shortly after they publish their photos of carefree days on social media .. I personally have full boxes, boxes and even the stock! I came to the conclusion that in order to avoid human cases I have to isolate myself, I have come to the conclusion that to avoid human cases I must avoid trusting people, fake I love you, and pretend you are my friend, fake my cousin, sister or daughter is number one, because the moment you do it .. you lose yourself for the love of false people ..

My American dream

I was about 10 years old, the first time I told my mother that I wanted to go to NY, with growing up it became an obsession, I studied the history of the United States so much that I think I know it better than an American .. I fulfilled my dream for the first time in March 2013, my first crossing overseas with a flight with a stopover that lasted 12 hours, arrived in New York was 10.30 at night, I remember every moment of arrival from the welcome of the policeman to passport checks, a boy about 35 years of Puerto Rican origins, the African American lady, with beautiful nails that when I told her she was very happy, the Russian taxi driver , the only crazy person I’ve met in my NYC travels, about the taxi stopped outside at JFK.I remember when I arrived at the hotel that was on 42nd and 2nd Street, I remember when I entered the room and looked out the window, the tears of joy, the palpitations, the night in white and the adrenaline for the whole week .. but when I returned to Milan I felt that something, I went back to NY 3 more times after that and in 21 days I go back there again … it’s the place I’ve always dreamed of since I was little, to move there, to live NY as a New Yorker, but I wanted more .. and I made it in 2017, when I promised myself that before my 40 (oh my God I’m missing 7 years) to visit all of the United States, a challenge with myself, a promise, a gift … because in the end it’s not just NY that interested me, but the United States. So on November 27th 2017 I faced my fears and anxieties and booked for Chicago, I had already done a tour in Washington, the previous year and I wanted even more, I spent 5 wonderful days in the city of Illinois for then moving to NY and Boston, the period was Thanksgiving, under Christmas so I found myself living the Christmas lights of 3 wonderful cities .. since then I have not stopped I was in San Francisco in Los Angeles, San Diego and between 21 days you return to NY and I will discover Philadelphia I am so excited every preparation everything is going well, the hotels in the two cities are booked and the things to do are so many and I can’t wait, I created this blog to share love for a nation so big and wonderful .. with its pros and cons like every country, the United States of America! I create this new blog on Tumblr (ilmiosognoamericano) and I hope you can follow and share with me your opinion .

THANK YOU HEVRIN KHALAF

Today from Syria only bad news arrives, the attacks of Turkey with justification “to defeat ISIS” even if to me it seems only a mass devastation of the Kurdish people, in many today as always blamed the United States, which always according to many have supplied the guns to the Turks, Europe that thinks only of how many poor people will come to “bother”, Italy and the nearby coasts that are already counting on how much money will enter the coffers, which make money first skin of poor people, and then pretend not to want them!
My thoughts on this affair are aimed at two things, the first, the millions of children who die, who risk their lives on those damned boats, which are rejected by other nations and which are denied their rights to live a better future. And the second thought goes to those who have made it a trade in the struggle for rights, which has made them kill just this morning, the really bad thing and which they talk about very little in the news, Hevrin Khalaf, was killed two days ago in an ambush, and in the worst way you can know, the car you were traveling on was targeted, by hundreds of bullets, the driver and his bodyguard died instantly, instead she was dragged out from the car raped and stoned.

A violent death, and one that does not wish on anyone, but the young activist was annoying to many, because those who put themselves in the front row, to fight for human rights, especially those of women, annoys many, and so does you enter into the hearts of all others, because Hevrin Khalaf, just 35 years old, was loved not only by the women of his people, but from many nations he admired his work, and his work, he entered politics, and he did not deal only with of women’s rights, but of peaceful coexistence between Kurds and Syrian Christians, say that the attack was claimed by ISIS exponents, and many want to make people believe this considering that it was a non-believer according to them. Everything after Erdogan attacks the Syria to “defeat terrorism” I don’t know much about their politics, but I can only say that Hevrin died unjustly, and that people who do not have many people who expose themselves for their rights, lost someone really important.. someone who gave her life for her people.. rest in peace Hevrin !
