What’s happening in the world? sorry for the absence but between books, work and travels I have been very absent from this page.. but in these years of bad things unfortunately so many have happened, unfortunately so many, in these years, post covid, I thought that the world after having seen the worst would have gotten back up but it didn’t go like that, first Russia that INVADES Ukraine in such a brutal way that in three years it has caused more than 300,000 deaths and injuries, and while in the world, a wound as big as fascism was being seen again, on October 7th in Israel an attack by Hamas, if we must say so, started a bloody war against the Palestinians, because what was seen in Gaza, what those people suffered is inconceivable. The hundreds of thousands of children killed by Israel, at the hands of Netanyahu, and all the politicians who have supported with silence, this tyrant, America, for the second time has made the biggest mistake of its life that will cause great damage not only to Americans but to the entire world.

in front of the images of those children, heartbreaking images, children who were torn apart, killed in a brutal way, left orphans, without a home, without food, without anything, I found myself crying because the world is unfair, because nobody does anything.. and then you hear that it is not Israel’s fault.. go to hell!

Since April 2022, I’ve been traveling again, I’ve been back to New York twice, I’ve visited Boston, Baltimore, Edinburgh, Glasgow, London, Amsterdam, Prague, Frankfurt, Birmingham, Manchester and Bristol, and I’ve been back to Rome and Florence… I’ve rediscovered love in its sweetest and most complicated form, made of smiles, complicity and lots of messes… My heart has found the right beat even if with a lot of fear… enough to be able to distract myself from the world around me, and while at work a continuous whirlwind of contrasting emotions to put everything into question,

The world was questioning my feeling of safety… as I think for everyone, but above all I am afraid of this world for my niece and nephew.. We must improve it.

We are in 2025.. started just 61 days ago, and we are surrounded by tragedies left and right, while in Italy, our politicians struggle to say they are Anti Fascist and follow dangerous currents, in America Trump wins the elections again, and since January 20th he is causing damage wherever he puts his hands, the Gulf of Mexico, the Wall, the ICe, the duties, Ukraine, the suspicious Peace with Putin and what distresses me most is Trump Gaza. A massacre and a mockery of a population already unjustly tormented!

With this new monstrous administration, all we can talk about is deportations, billionaires who are getting richer and who are praising Nazism… we have to do something and we have to do it now.
